Show SUP Heads Plan Christmas Party Officers of the Sugar House Sons of Utah Pioneers will meet Monday evening, Dec. 13. at 2144 So. 11th East to plan a Christmas Christ-mas season party to be held Dec. 27, Horace A. Sorensen, chapter chap-ter president, will conduct the meeting. In addition to planning for the party, the officers will also formulate for-mulate chapter plans for the coming quarter, Mr. Sorensen said. Main project for the year, of course, is the establishment of a permanent museum at the prison site, he added. General plans for the state park at tne penitentiary location will be outlined. David S. King, chapter judge-advocate, judge-advocate, will tell of progress in incorporation of the chapter, Mr. Sorensen announced. The officers also act as a committee com-mittee in planning for the statewide state-wide S.U.P. Encampment to be held at Brighton in mid-summer, 1949. "We are going to make next summer's encampment encamp-ment a memorable one," Mr. Sorensen commented. |
