Show Named "America's Most Useful Dogs" - t Y " - Y ! - v r f ; i Vv-' u- t't 1 . i BECAUSE the judges could not decide between them, both dogs shown here were awarded the title "America's Most Useful Dog of 1947" in a contest undertaken by the Gaines Dog Research Center, New York, as part of the year's National Dog Week observance. 1. "Tubby," who helps run the Karl B. Loud farm at Wellsboro, Pa. 2. "Spike," who is righthand man to Mrs. Ed Schlagel, Cataldo, Idaho, in the operation of her ranch. 3.
