Show EMC Lions Slate Annual Labor Day 'Fishoree' "Labor day, oh Labor day" . . East Mill Creek youngsters have been biding their time for weeks, waiting for Sept. 6 to roll ari.unu. For- on that big day, the annual "Fishoree" will be held at EMC park. ' Sponsored each year by the East Mill Creek Lions Club, the Fishoree is the answer to any young fisherman's prayer. According Ac-cording to publicity chairman J. K. Richards, the club's sports and activities committee is releasing re-leasing some 3000 12-inch trout for the big event. Fishing will start officially at 8 a.m. on Monday Mon-day on the stream at the south west corner of the park. Another project of the East Mill Creek community to make the world a happier place for Xhe kids, the object of this celebration cel-ebration is "to get the kids out so they can break Dad's fishing pole," acording to Mr. Richards. Members of the EMC Lions I Club spent several evenings last i week cleaning out the creek ; bed to make it easier for the I young fishermen. Chairman of the club's sports committee is A. 0. Brain.
