That ideal has always al-ways included a self imposed obligation ob-ligation to keep faith with the public by maintaining a high standard of business operation. The home community either progresses pro-gresses or goes backward accord- Oing to these business enterprises which, day after day. assist in the carrying on their relations with the people who spend their money within the borders of the community. The Utah-Idaho Sugar Company was founded on such ideals and down through the years has continued con-tinued to operate with the one thought in mind; to serve the pub-lis pub-lis to the best advantage possible. This year markes the golden anniversary of the Utah-Idaho Sugar Company, the first all American made beet sugar factory, fac-tory, which commenced making sugar for the first time In Lehi, Utah, in 1891. No greater tribute could be paid to a product than to be consistently in demand for a 50 year period Honored especially in this jubilee jubi-lee year is President Heber J. Grant, present president of the sugar company and the only surviving sur-viving member of the company's first official family.
