Show LADIES' DAY AT C. OF C. SUCCESS Ladies' Day at the meeting of, the Sugar House Chamber of Com-' merce held Wednesday, March 26, at the Hall-Rogers restaurant, was declared a successful event by members attending. Mrs. Burton W. Musser, exponent expo-nent of the Good Neighbor Policy with South America, briefly discussed dis-cussed the South American countries coun-tries and what being good neighbors neigh-bors means to both them and the United States. Mrs. Musser's message was well received . by members who were interested to learn something of our neighbors. Mrs. Musser was introduced by Mrs. Joseph Rimensberger. A note of hilarity was added to the meeting Wednesday by Hyrum fYoung, chairman of the attendance attend-ance contest, and two of his aids, Clarence Maurer and F. A. McGregor, Mc-Gregor, when they came costumed as women to the meeting. The men were presented with a rose bud by Mrs. Rachel P. Lunt, lady member, and complimented on their novel make-up. Music for the day was furnished furnish-ed by Mr. Paul Bane, violinist, from Westminster College, accompanied ac-companied by Miss Helen Hamilton, Hamil-ton, music instructor from the college. col-lege. The program was presided over by Mrs. Gordon H. Hoggan, secretary sec-retary of the Chamber. |
