Show ' News From Kearns KEARNS, UTAH Second largest larg-est rifle range in the country is at this army air forces basic training train-ing center. Bosting 600 targets, it ranks just below Camp Perry, Ohio, in size and scope. This mamoth range has 250 tar gets, 150 carbine targets, 100 for machine gun and pistols and 200 for anti-aircraft work. The actual range measures 7500 feet in width. When the protected areas are added, it forms a hugh rectangle rec-tangle three and a half miles by two miles. Here's a True Story! A soldier received permission from his officer to go to the Service Club for a cup of coffee. As he arrrived, the MPs came in and asked to see everyone's off duty passes.
