Mr. Vigos is representative for the S.M. News . , Association. While in Idaho they tayed at the new Thunderbird Motel and visited Shoshone Falls, rheir children Davis, Sheila, Randy and Kent were very happy to have them home. Auxiliary Serves Dinner A swiss steak dinner, prepared j and served by members, will be held by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles,1, Aerie 67, on Saturday, Sept. 21st ; at the Aerie Home, 3571 West No. Temple. i'. Orientation Week At Westminster A feature of Orientation Week at Westminster College was the all-colle- ge picnic held Tuesday af-ternoon at Storm Mountain in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Orientation Week began Satur-day with the football game be-tween Westminster and Adams State of Alamosa, Colo., with The Parsons getting off to an auspi-cious start with a 33-- 7 win. A student "mixer," sponsored by the Intercollegiate Knights and the Women of Westminster was feat-ured Saturday evening in the Stu-- I dent Lounge. A Student - Faculty-- 1 Parents luncheon was held Sun-- j day on the Ferry Hall lawn, with' a "Melon Bust" later in the after-noon. Registration for all students was held all day Thursday in the Payne gymnasium. The second football game of the season was played Friday afternoon in the Dane Hansen Stadium when The Tne annual President's reception was held that evening in the Ferry Hall Lounge. The week was closed with a "hello dance" Saturday night in the Student Lounge, sponsored by the Student Government Associa-tion. Classes begin next Monday. The new Young Adult section has been filled with young read-ers since its addition to the library on the main floor. Announcement is made of the birth of a baby girl to Mr. and Mrs. Que E. Christensen, 3512 So. 12 East on September 9. Awaiting the new youngster are Keith, nine and Nancy, six. Mrs. Christensen is the former Vernice May. The grandparents are Mrs. Joe May, and Mr. Erven Christensen, both f Salt Lake.
