Each local club honored its own working women and the 22 million women employed in the country. The active Sugar House Club is making plans for the state convention con-vention to be held in the spring. BPW Women Observe Week Sugar House Business and Professional Pro-fessional Women's Club is among 27 Utah clubs to observe National Business and Professional Women's Wom-en's Week, Sept. 22 to 28. In a statement to the South East Independent, Miss Burt, President of the Utah Federation said. "It is the purpose of the BPW to improve the woman for the business busi-ness world and improve the business busi-ness world for the women!" Members of the organization take an active interest in state and national legislation, national security, international relations, civilian defense and public safety, safe-ty, Miss Burt said.
