Patty and Van will offer as a duet "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" , from " Gigi and during the last 16 bars will continue their duet in a soft-sho-e routine. v Dancing is nothing new for Van Johnson,who in his em-bryonic days in show business was a hoofer, but for Patty it will represent her first danc-ing performance and her grad-uation from-- a week of lessons--he- r first. During the show Patrice and Buddy discuss their attitudes on diet fads and attempt to answer Buddy's obvious need to lose weight. The conver-sation then turns to the pro-blems Buddy has encountered as a home owner in the sub-urbs. A break in the discussion of these heavy problems is provided by the light dancing of Miss Adams. Maestro Lawrence Welk will draw upon the delegates to the National Music Educators Conference in Los Angeles as the source of his guest artists for "Lawrence Welk's Top Tunes and New Talent" Mon-day, March 24. The Diamonds, whose "The Stroll" topped best-sell- er lists for months, will bring their brand new effort, "The High Sign", to the "Dick Clark Show" Saturday. Other pop-mus- ic stars on the show will be Billy Williams, Bill Haley and the Comets, Bet ty Johnson and Sam Cooke. In addition to "The High Sogn," "The Dick Clark Show" will also feature the runaway best seller 'Stroll," which grew out of dance originated on Clark's "American Bandstand". Badstad."
