Show Jaycees Begin Survey Contest. One hundred dollars in merchandise mer-chandise will be awarded the winner of a survey contest sponsored by the Sugar House Jaycees. The official survey ballot is printed on page 2 of this issue of the Independent. The prize will be awared to the individual individ-ual who writes the best entry of 100 words or less, on a project proj-ect that would improve the Sugar House community. Closing Clos-ing date for the contest is April 18, 1958. The Jaycees ask that each Sugar House resident or businessman busi-nessman mark the ballot as to his choice of projects which need urgent attention to improve im-prove Sugar House. Some of the suggested improvements im-provements include a civic auditorium, tourist information informa-tion center, improved traffic, planning, more public transportation, transpor-tation, and many other items.
