The national president of Alpha November 17, the Shrine Chan-gers will present a musical pro-gram at Centenary Methodist Church, 17 South and 5th East, at 7:30 p.m. There will be no ad-mission fee, but an offering will be taken. Illlllllllllllllllillllllllilllllflll St. Ann's Group Plans Bazaar ; Cone on, come all, to St. Ann's ' Annual School benefit bazaar. A full schedule of events is on ; the agenda, Friday and Saturday, ; November 22 and 23. Bazaar items-a-nd games will be featured Friday from 6 to 11 ; p.m. and on Saturday from 2 to , 11 pm. I A snack bar will be serving chili ; and crackers, hot dogs, barbecued beef, salads, pie, cake and bev-erages. The booths will be many and varied. There will be bakery goods, groceries, ham and bacon, parcel post, dolls, linens, novel-ties and candy, white elephants, soft drinks, fish ponds, darts, roily polly and other games. In addition to the above attrac-tions there are beautiful prizes to be awarded colored television; set, shot gun, transistor radio, ro--l tisserie, St. Ann's Nun doll, and. also a nightly door prize of 100 gallons of gasoline. Arrangements for the Bazaar1 are under the direction of Rev. John Doyle, Assistant Pastor; Mr. Harry Bannon, President of the Men's Club; Mrs. Louis Gillett, President of Altar Society; Mrs. Arthur Norton, President of Mo-thers Club. They will be assisted by the following booth chairmen: Mrs. Dean Burl, Mr. Phillip Williams, Mr. John Arnold, Mrs. William Brown, Mrs. Ronaldo Brunnetti, Miss Olga Dalnador, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Chiechanowski, Mrs. Evelyn Jenkins, Mrs. Benjamin Gabries, Mr. Les Bolte, Mr. Pat Hession, 'Mrs. Anthony Carpino. The fish pond and dart booth will be managed by St. Ann's BYO Boys and Girls. It is the hope of all the work-ing committees that many will ac-cept the invitation to our bazaar. There will be fun for all. Tickets for the prizes may be obtained from Mr. Paul Roberson, Ticket Chairman, or by calling St. Ann's Rectory. Sunday morning, November 17 at the Centenary Methodist Church, 11 a.m., Dr. Benjamin Christer of Denver, will speak on the subject of the Rocky Moun tain Methodist Homes. Dr. Christer is executive direc-- j tor of the Rocky Mountain Homes, the first of which is now being; built in Boulder, Colorado. The; home is being built for the aged people and plans are in the offing for similar homes of this type, af-- l ter this one is completed. J |
