Show Sugar House "Turkey Days" Promotion Gigantic Success That's the concensus about Turkey Tur-key Days, from Chairman Henry Richards right down to the least shopper who received turkey and bonus coupons for purchases in Sugar House during the ninth annual an-nual turkey event. The 86 winners in the "Count the Turkeys" contest were especially espec-ially enthusiastic. Although the Independent was not connected with the "contest itself, hundreds of calls have been received concerning con-cerning it. As a public service, the Independent Inde-pendent has obtained information about the official count of turkeys and the names of the winners. The judges said the official count was between 1020 and 1030. There were a number of persons who had the exact count. This made it necessary to check the sequence of numbers on the six reasons for shopping in Sugar House to break the ties. The official offi-cial sequence had been determined determin-ed bv a committee Drior to the eries, gasoline, a whole lamb, right on through theatre tickets, a flashlight and vitamins.
