Show New Subscription Drive In keeping with the above editorial of the Independent we are chalking up another first, for us, at least; and are going all out on a subscription drive. We are attempting to place the Independent Indepen-dent in 7,500 additional homes in a two month period. We are organizing groups of individuals, boy scout age, to do this work for us. We will cover the areas of Sugar House, Canyon Rim, Evergreen, Holladay, Cottonwood, Butler and we are attempting to get started in the Granger area. We are serious about our attempts to make this newspaper a good one. We need your support sup-port and the support of all the communities. If you know of any groups that fall in the above named category, let us know. We'll do the contact work. You can see on page 4 & 5 what the winners of this drive will receive. It's worth it. Members of the Sugar House Kiwanis will act as final judges. The drawings for the Sea Champ and the final tabulation of the subscriptions to determine which group wins the big convertable cruiser will be done sometime in the future at a regular Tuesday meeting at Harmons cafe. , |
