The A-M- IA Club held their ann-ual Christmas Party at Beau Brummell on Dec. . 2nd. This group is the past Bonneville Stake MIA Board. Mrs. George H. Lunt chariman made arrang-- j ements. About 25 attended and enjoyed a lovely dinner, and mus-ical program that followed, Mrs. . Lunt gave a talk on Christ, Mr. Less Rigby favored them with a vocal solo "The Holy City" after-whi- ch he led the group singing Carols. Upon leaving Beau Brum-mell the party continued at the home of . Florence Ammoth in Holiday where they played games and sang more Christmas songs. Leaders Trained. In Girl Scouting ,. j . Mrs. Margaret Riley, volunteer! Trainer of Holladay District Girl; Scouts announced the completion! of the training program for 16 mothers in the southeast area to1, take their places in the field of i Giil Scout leadership. These ladies, who studied for! five sessions to complete sixteen hours of training, were instructed in Girl Scout policies and pro-- ! grams, in leader qualifications, in the knowledge and understanding of characteristics of growing girls and in the arts and crafts studied by the girls themselves. Among those ladies completing the training were Mrs. LaRae Hanson, Mrs. Vera Clark, Mrs. Stella Zaharias, Mrs. Helen Deak-ins- , Mrs. Merci Taylor, Mrs. Kath-erin- e Biele, Mrs. Joan Lipps, Mrs. worthy of the name. "EVER-GREEN." Students must honor the school and work to improve its reputa-tion. We should be honest in our dealings with each other. When problems arise, we should try to settle them in a sensible way . . . without trouble. If we cannot do so by ourselves, let's ask for help from our teachers or parents. Let us work more closely together to uphold the fine principles for which our emblem, the "EVER-GREEN" tree so. proudly stands! Chester Dal-jgleis- h, 1535 Evergreen Lane. He is "exchanging" with their daugh-ter, Christine, who spent last sum-mer in Mexico City. ' Ricardo arrived in Salt Lake ! City, November 30, and plans to stay for two months. Our moun-tains, cold weather and snow I made first impressions on him. The Dalgleish family plans to show him the scenic spots in and near our city including Brighton, jAlta, Bingham copper mine, and Great Salt Lake.
