Show Second Term Sought By Rodney S. Page ! f 1 ' .... ,:: JLi i i RODNEY S. PAGE Davis County Attorney, Rodney S. Page, has announced his candidacy for a second term. Mr. Page has been practicing law in Davis County for 13 years. He has served in the capacity of city attorney and deputy county attorney pnor to being elected to his current term in 1978. He has also maintained a private law practice in Davis County. MR. PAGE is a graduate of the University of Oregon and the University of Utah with a degree in business administration administra-tion and received his juris doctor doc-tor degree from the University of Utah in 1969. He is a member mem-ber of the Utah Bar Association Associa-tion and the National District Attorney's Association. He is active in the Statewide State-wide Association of Prosecutors Prosecu-tors and is presently a member of the Board of Directors of the Utah Legal Services, Inc. representing rep-resenting Davis County. MR. PAGE is a life-long resident re-sident of Davis County and has resided with his wife and children chil-dren in Kaysville for the past 18 years. He has served on numerous committees and advisory boards and has been active in various youth programs prog-rams in the area. He has been politically active in the Republican Repub-lican party on the state and local loc-al level. Among the accomplishments accomplish-ments of his present term, Mr. Page cites the close cooperation coopera-tion between his office and the Davis County Sheriffs Office in the area of drug enforcement and the close relationship and cooperation between the County Attorney's Office and other law enforcement agencies agen-cies of the county; also the ability of his office to handle the greatly increased demand for assistance from other departments de-partments of county government govern-ment while continuing to vigorously and effectively prosecute pro-secute those charged with crime in Davis County. MR. PAGE feels that the big challenge of the future will be to continue to provide a high standard of professional competence com-petence in representing the various va-rious departments of the county coun-ty and in the effective prosecution prosecu-tion of crime, at a cost which is acceptable to county residents; resi-dents; a goal, which he says, can only be met by continued cooperation and involvement of all local agencies and the public. |
