Show Leeton-Bennett Delma Long Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Bowden, of Salt Lake, are visiting Mrs. Bowden's parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Russon and family. Other visitors at the Russon home were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Russon Rus-son and baby daughter, of Salt Lake, who spent the weekend. The small son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Houston, fell recently and cut his head. Several stitches stitch-es were required to close the wound. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hor-rocks Hor-rocks and his son and family, of Heber, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. Perry Bowan. Mrs. P. E. Russon, recently released as ward M.I.A. president, presi-dent, was guest of honor at a party Saturday evening at the Clair Haslam residence, sponsored spon-sored by the Mutual officers. Games furnished the entertainment, entertain-ment, and refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslam, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Bowan, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Long attended a party given recently by Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Rasmussen, of Ballard, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Azel Seeley, who are moving mov-ing to Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. J. Raymond Bolton, of Tremonton, and Mr. and Mrs. David Austin, of Salt Lake City, arrived Sunday for a two-day surprise visit with the John Bolton family. The Bennett baseball team won its third straight game Saturday, Sat-urday, taking a hard-fought game from Roosevelt, 3-2. Kenneth Long, Sherman Asay and Phyllis Russon were speakers speak-ers at the Whiterocks Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting Sunday evening. The 4-H club met Sunday evening, with Wendell Johnson as the guest speaker. |
