Show SOCIETY Peggy Oldroyd. Society Reporter CULTURE CLUB Extending hospitality Monday evening were Mrs. Bernard Oberhansley and Mrs. J u e 1 Kolb, when they entertained members of the Culture club at the Frontier Grill. A short business meeting was conducted by Mrs. Beth Bro-den. Bro-den. Feature of the evening's program was a lecture on music, with demonstrations, by Mrs. Oberhansley. A delicious luncheon terminated termin-ated the festivities. Covers were laid for Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, Mrs. Bennie Schmiett, Mrs. Ned Bellon, Mrs. Floyd Labrum, Mrs. Clem Labrum, Mrs. Bill Murdock, Mrs. Kenneth Labrum, Mrs. LaVere Labrum, Mrs. Louis Lou-is Taylor, and Mrs. Lynn Labrum. La-brum. TUESDAY BRIDGE Lovely in all details was the luncheon at which Mrs. Morris Lewis entertained members of her club Tuesday evening at the Frontier Grill. Her guest list included Mrs. Sam Weiss, Mrs. Ray Jordan, Mrs. Eugene Harmston, Mrs. Howard Harrison, Mrs. Clair Ashton, Mrs. Bennie Schmiett, Mrs. Wayne Malin, Mrs. Lynn Orser, Mrs. Axel Birch, Mrs. Vean Bair, Mrs. Myrtle Lambert, Lam-bert, and Mrs. Glenn. Wyler. BRIDGETTE The Johnnie Cook home was the scene of a gay party Thursday Thurs-day evening when Mrs. Cook was hostess to members of her club. A delightful dessert luncheon, served at small tables centered with rosebuds, was enjoyed by Mrs. Clem Labrum, Mrs. Bill Nelson, Mrs. Ned Bellon, Mrs. Orson Stevens, Mrs. Parley Rawlings, Mrs. Douglas McKin-lay, McKin-lay, Mrs. Earl Dillman, Mrs. Bennie Schmiett, Mrs. Mont Killian, Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, and Mrs. Bill Murdock. Bridge formed the diversion, following luncheon. Prizes were won by Mrs. Stevens, Mrs. Eldredge El-dredge and Mrs. Rawlings. NEIGHBORHOOD SEWING Charming hospitality prevailed prevail-ed at the Parley Rawlings residence resi-dence Wednesday evening, Mar. 8, when members of Neighborhood Neighbor-hood Sewing club were guest of Mrs. Rawlings. Luncheon and sewing provided provid-ed relaxation for Mrs, Llewelyn Jenkins, Mrs. George Hacking, Mrs. Stanley Hall, Mrs. Merlin Killpack, Mrs. Louie Laris, Mrs. Robert Hall, Mrs. Neldon Ny-berg, Ny-berg, Mrs. Terrance Hatch, Mrs. Guy Burton, Mrs. Floyd Labrum, La-brum, and Mrs. LaRue Laris. CONTRACT CLUB A St. Patrick's theme was featured fea-tured when Mr, and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Marimon, of Whiterocks, entertained en-tertained members of the Con-tract Con-tract club at the Frontier Grill. Beautifully arranged green carnations made a striking background back-ground for the candlelight supper. sup-per. Places were marked for Mr. and Mrs, Ray Jordan, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Malin, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chamberlin, Mr. and Mrs. Axel Birch, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Weiss, and Mr, and Mrs. Clair Ashton. Following supper, tables were arranged for bridge, with the grand prize going to Mr. and Mrs. Ashton. ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED ALTONAH Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark, of Altonah, announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, Georgeita, to Delmar Ivie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Ivie, of Strawberry. The ceremony was performed Saturday, Sat-urday, March 11, at Duchesne. |
