H. Linck, Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Dal-gleish, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb, Miss Alice Todd and Lee Cooper. Coop-er. Prizes were won by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dennis arrived ar-rived last week from Ft. Collins Col-lins to visit Mr. Dennis' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Dennis. Devere Hancock brought his wife and infant son from the Roosevelt hospital Friday. The baby was born September 10. Mrs. Hancock's mother, Mrs. Darrell Dean, is visiting them to help care for the new arrival. ar-rival. , Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Thomas, Thom-as, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Dennis, Mr. and Mrs. Max Jen-son, Jen-son, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dennis, and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Thomas, Jr. attended the wedding wed-ding of Miss Renee Stewart and John Chasel Saturday evening eve-ning at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Stewart, in Roosevelt. Morris Buckwater, a former Myton resident, spent Thursday and Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Uresk. He returned return-ed Saturday to his home in LaGrande, Oregon.. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott and family spent Saturday and Sunday Sun-day in Salt Lake City, where they visited relatives and attended attend-ed the State Fair. William Hook, of Ogden, was a guest Saturday of Lee Cooper. Mr. Hook made his home here in his early youth with his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cooper. He recently retired from the U. S. Navy after af-ter 20 years' service. Merrell Paxman arrived Saturday Sat-urday from Belmont, North Carolina, Car-olina, to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Paxman. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Harris and Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Dal-gleish, members of Wm. R. Sands Post and Unit, 5, attended the special meeting of American Legion and Auxiliary posts and units of the Uintah Basin at Duchesne Sunday afternoon. Mrs. J. R. Bywater and daughter Sarah returned Saturday Satur-day evening from a week's visit vis-it in Provo and Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Clark are enjoying a visit from their son, Jesse Clark, S. N., who arrived ar-rived last week from Norfolk, Va., U. S. S. Amphion AR-13. He will remain here until next Friday, when he will go to Chanute Air Force base, Illinois, to visit his brother, Ben Clark, and then go on to St. Louis, Missouri, to spend a short time with his sister and brother-in-. law, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Lau-mond, Lau-mond, before returning- to hia station on September 29. Alex Kaslow, of Los Angeles, is a guest at the Wilmer Murray Mur-ray home. The Murray family and their guest visited in Bluebell Blue-bell Tuesday to allow Mr. Kaslow Kas-low the opportunity to greet old friends. They left Wednesday to visit in Brigham City with Miss LaVora Murray, who is teaching at the high school there. Charles Meranda and sons, Stephen and Tom came from American Fork Sunday to attend at-tend to their farm west of town. They report Mrs. Meranda is enjoying en-joying a vacation in California. Louis Uresk left Tuesday for Chicago, Illinois, where he will enroll in the Northwestern Dental Den-tal college. |
