A farewell testimonial will be given Wednesday, Sept. 27 m the Bennett ward chapel tor Myron Bolton, who leaves Oct. 2 for Salt Lake to enter the mission home. He will serve in the Texas-Louisiana mission Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were Garn and Howard Lloyd, of Ioka. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd, their parents, par-ents, also attended the meeting. Visitors at the Orvil Eowden home Sunday were Mr. Bow-den's Bow-den's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William R, Bowden, a brother and sistcr-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bowden, and a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Udell Bennion, all of Granger, Gran-ger, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Allred have purchased a home in town and have moved there. Mr. Allred will continue to drive his school bus route, however. John Coppermeyer, an exchange ex-change student from Germany, was a dinner guest at the W. Long home Sunday. John is a senior student at Alterra high school, and is living with the Bodily family in Gusher. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hor-rocks Hor-rocks and daughter, of Lapoint, visited Sunday with Mr. Hor-rock's Hor-rock's brother and sister-in-law, Bishop and Mrs. Otis Horrocks. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslam and son, Billy, made a trip to Springville to visit Mr. and Mrs. Vesper Diamond, Mrs. Has-lam's Has-lam's brother and sister-in-law, and her mother, Mrs. William Diamond. |
