Show Court Opened With Four Jury Trials On Docket Four jury trials are listed on the third term of court in the Fourth Judicial District Court calendar, which opened last Monday at Duchesne. Two of these jury suits are in the criminal, and two in the civil division of the court. The state will try Edwin Davis, of Roosevelt, charged with selling liquor to an Indian, and Norman Nor-man Pike, of Roosevelt, charged with a lewdness offense. Two suits for judgment and damages will be heard by jury. They are Fred H. Gagon, plain-I plain-I tiff, vs. J. V. McLea, defendant; j and LaFarge Dastrup and Flora Dastrup, plaintiffs, vs. The Allen Al-len Oil Company, and Kenneth Thornsen. Other civil suits -to be heard during the third term of court are E. A. Call, plaintiff, vs. Samuel Milner, et al, defendants, defend-ants, land title claim; LeRoy Mecham, plaintiff, vs. Matthew Foley, et al, defendants, land title claim; and D. Ray Moss, plaintiff, vs. Ray and Erma C. Thomas, defendants, judgment for damages. District judges who will serve during this court term are William Wil-liam Stanley Dunford, Joseph E. Nelson, and R. L. Tuckett, all of Provo. |
