Show Two Brides Are Honored May 24 A double bridal shower w?s given Friday, May 23, in honor of Mrs. Max Twitchell and Mrs. Terry Goulding. A wedding dance honored the couples on May 24 at the LDS chapel. Mrs. Bob Burton and son returned re-turned to their home in Ogden last week. Mr. and : Mrs. Duane Obe-hansley Obe-hansley and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Claude Wagstaff, of Tabiona, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Hoopes and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hoopes and daughters left Sunday Sun-day for Manila to visit Mr. and Mrs. Levi Reed and family. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Phillips, of Vernal, visited here last week. PFC Gail Rasmusse'n spent Wednesday and Thursday of last week visiting friends and relatives rel-atives here. His wife, the former form-er Kay Robb, and baby son accompanied ac-companied him. They returned to Salt Lake Thursday. Keith Ellingford was among the seminary students who were graduated on May 18 at Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marimon left Friday for Mt. Pleasant to attend the graduation of their daughter, Nancy, from Wasatch Academy on May 26. She was the high honor student this year both scholastically and in service ser-vice to the school. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Fosdick, of Stewart, Nevada, arrived Sunday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Al Betts. The two couples left Monday for a two-week vacation vaca-tion in Oklahoma. Mrs. Kay Rasmussen and son, Kendall, returned to their home from Salt Lake last week. They were accompanied by Clyde and Vera Rasmussen, who returned to Salt Lake Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Daloy Surr and two daughters, of Provo, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Betts last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Betts, of Pleasant Grove were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Clin-ton Betts recently. Among -those who attended the visiting teachers convention conven-tion were Bishop Ellingford, Lila Murray, Ruth Murray, Ma-ble Ma-ble Betts, Luella Brough, Verna Hoopes, Muril Moosman, and Ora Ellingford.
