Rudy, of Orerri, 'is here to visit for several weeks with his daughter, Mrs. Winf red Long. Kenneth Long, Lynn Bracken and Verle Haslem were home over the weekend from the BYU at Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Searle, Mr. and Mrs. Littleton, of Le-ota Le-ota Bottoms were Saturday evening eve-ning guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Hall. They report re-port that the Green River has fallen considerably. Mrs. Edna Palmer, of Rose-ville, Rose-ville, California, and Mrs. Ma-ble Ma-ble Curtis, of Ft. Duchesne, were dinner guests Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Winfred Long. Mrs. Frances Bowen and Mrs. Doris Haslem attended the DUP meeting Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Peter Anderson Ander-son in Roosevelt. ' ; Mr. and Mrs Carl Lindlev ' and family, of Provo, were at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Houston, for the week end. Mrs. Lorna Hemingway Hem-ingway and two small sons returned re-turned with them for a week's visit in Provo. Mrs. Ora Murdock, of Salt Lake City, visited recently with her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Hack-ford. Hack-ford. The lights were turned on at! the Georee Houston well Sunday Sun-day night for the first time. The well was spudded in Monday. Mon-day. Mr. and Mrs Tailfeathers and Mr. and Mrs. WhiteCrane are pleased over the completion of their new houses, built by Howard How-ard Harmston and Carl Harrison. Harri-son. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harmston Harm-ston were guests at a dinner party on Wednesday evening of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferron. The event was in compliment to the Ferrons son and daughter-in-1 law, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Ferron, i land family, from Minnesota, j who spent their vacation in the Basin. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Mileham spent Saturday and Sunday in Salt Lake with her brother. |
