Winning out as high contestant contest-ant and crowned queen of the big affair was Miss Marilyn Zirker, viith Misses Sherry Dennis Den-nis and Vivian Larsen as attendants. at-tendants. The queens were selected from the following girls sponsored spon-sored for the occasion by the various classes and clubs: seniors, sen-iors, Sherry Dennis; juniors, Dorothy Dean Nixon; sophomores, sopho-mores, Colleen Moore; freshmen, Vivian Larsen; FHA, Carolyn Dennis; and FFA, Marilyn Zirker. Zirk-er. The queen was presented with a box of chocolates from Franklin Frank-lin Spencer, FFA president. During the evening a turkey and two chickens were given away the turkey being won by Orlo Spencer and the chickens going to Fred Riding and Vard Swain. . Zilo's orchestra furnished the music for the crowd, who enjoyed en-joyed dancing- amidst the gay decorations. Cider and doughnuts dough-nuts were sold to further add to the evening's entertainment. At the assembly Wednesday following the Harvest ball, Miss Zirker, the queen, was presented present-ed with a white rayon jacket, inscribed with her name and the Ag. Club emblem, from the FFA club.
