Others assisting were Mrs. Twitchell, Zella Pike, Emma , Jake, Violet Eaglebear. Mrs. i Young and Virgil Robb. Alvin ! J. Duley and J. Trujillo were j co-chairmen of the activity. Den Mothers Harriett Tavea-! Tavea-! pont, Mrs. A. Young and Miss I Flora Howesa met with their Cubs this week to plan elections for denners and assistant den-j den-j ners. Vernon Jake and Robert I Jim are den chiefs. Explorers of Troop 248 held j an organization meeting at the ! Uiniah Indian school. Clark ! Oarum was elected senior crew leader; Robert Jim and Clark I Oarum, crew leaders, with ! James Cesspooch, Kenneth San- iio, assistants. Stanley Jenks and Clyde Tabbee are patrol leaders with James LaRose as senior patrol leader. Mrs. A. R. White came home from the Roosevelt hospital Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Betts and children, Linda and Wayne, spent Thanksgiving in Spring-ville, Spring-ville, at the home of Mrs. Betts' brother. Relatives of T. J. Ellingsford held a family reunion at his ! home in Tridell, Thanksgiving Day. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mari-mon Mari-mon and daughter, Nancy, a stu-j stu-j dent at Wasatch Academy, Mt. j Pleasant, spent the Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing holidays with Robert, Jr. at Occidental college, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Marimon's aunt in Maywood, Calif. ,A ward teachers convention was held Thursday evening, Nov. 16 in Roosevelt stake for all ward teachers, bishoprics and wives. Mr. Tempest from Salt Lake gave some valuable i instructions, stressing the im- portance of ward teaching in the : LDS homes. Bishop Preston At-! At-! wood, Gilbert Ellingsford, Keith i Ellingsford, Dee Chjristensen and Owen Cloward were among those in attendance. Mrs. Fern Houston and daughter, daugh-ter, Lorna, from Bennett ward, attended Relief Society meeting at the Whiterocks ward Nov. 15. They gave a demonstration on textile painting. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith have another grandson. The par-! par-! ents are Mr. and Mrs. William Parrish, of Ballard. |
