Show Randlett Mrs. J. E. Jensen P-TA GETS TOGETHER P-TA was held Thursday evening eve-ning at the Avalon school. President, Presi-dent, Geneive Dagley conducted the meeting. Clyde Jarman spent the weekend week-end visiting friends and relatives in Manila. Mr. and Mrs. Von Eklund and son have moved back home. The Eklunds have spent the past winter win-ter in Jensen, where Mr. Eklund was employed. The Sunday School superinten-dency superinten-dency held an executive meeting Wednesday evening at the Jensen home, where they planned their Mother's Day program. Mrs. Ermond Jensen of Salt Lake City visited during the week at the Edgar Jensen and Ivan Rogers homes. Mr. and Mrs. Ray McKee and family of Rigby, Idaho, visited from Thursday until Sunday at the home of Mrs. McKee's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Chandler. Miss Beatrice Chandler 0f c Lake City spent the weekend v iting at the home of her parent" Dian Taylor, Rhea and vlt Pickup from here, accompaZ their biology group on a ton, 1 Salt Lake City's "spots of int of est." Mr. and Mrs. Killpack companied the group which htl Friday and returned Sunday. ' cn" Mrs. Lula Dudley and daughter Mary Ann, visited Saturday in' Roosevelt at the home of her oar ents, Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Coiton Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen visited their daughter, Mrs. Marion Shel ton of Roosevelt, Saturday. Jess Hullinger and Bill Edwards took their students to Salt Lak, City, Saturday. The group visited the University of Utah, United Airlines, Lagoon and many other interesting places. Ivan Rogers drove the school, bus to take the students Mrs. Genevieve Dudley accompanied the group. PRESENTS LESSON Mrs. Lula Dudley presented the theology lesson Tuesday at Relief Society. Fahy Durfee and son, Richard, of Salt Lake City, arrived Saturday Satur-day afteernoon. Mr. Durfee will stay here for the next two weeks. Mrs. Fayellen Barlow and two sons, Danny, and Michael, will g0 back to Salt Lake with her brother, broth-er, Richard. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Chandler of Salt Lake City spent the weekend week-end visiting at the home of Mr. Chandler's parents, Mr. and Mrs William T. Chandler. Larry Lewis, the son of Mr. and Mrs Sheldon Lewis of Layton is visiting at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Young had their baby daughter, Jan Marie, named and blessed in Sacrament inceting Sunaiv. Mrs. Fayellen Barlow had her raby son iiamed Sunday. Michael Lynn was the name given by his grandfather, Fahy Durfee. |
