Show 77iis Week's RECIPE . . . Million Dollar Sweet Pickles are a favorite of many, and this week Mrs. Albert Harris has submitted her recipe for delicious sweet pickles. Million Dollar Sweet Pickles (Approx. 6y2 pints) Leave whole with stems 25 small cucumbers. Wash and put in salt brine. Leave 2 weeks-Drain weeks-Drain and pour cold water over cucumbers. Add alumn size of a walnut (or 1 tbs.) Let stand over night. Drain and wash. Cut if necessary. Combine following: 1 qt. cider vinegar 2 qts. sugar 2 stcks cinnamon 1 tbs. whole cloves Y2 ts.p. mace Boil and pour over cucumbers. Do this for three days. On fourth day pack in jars and seal. |
