Show ft I A Play Set For Tcnight At L.D.S. Stake House Dress rehearsals were staged this week in preparation for the Roosevelt stake Mutual Improvement Im-provement Assn., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints production of "Abraham Lincoln Lin-coln Salem Days," slated Thursday at 8 p.m. in the stake house. The - three-act drama will be directed by Mrs. Yvonne Gardner Gard-ner and staged by Bill Nelson. Cast members include Earl McKenna as Abraham Lincoln; Mrs. Yolanda Carle, as Ann Rutle'dge, 'and George Stewart, Omni Winterton, Vernon Buchanan, Bu-chanan, Homer Cook, Ray Johnston, John-ston, Clarence Liddell, Karen Gines. Laura Ann Leavitt, Re-nae Re-nae Eldredge, Edith Olpin, Roger Rog-er Larsen, Ellen Rawlings, Pat Gines, Ollen Timothy, JoAnn Todd, Fred Amundson and Mr. Nelson in supporting roles. The play is set in Lincoln's Salem store in the early 1830's when Lincoln, then in his twenties, twen-ties, was studying to become an j attorney. . |
