Show -t Oinner For Champs Set For Thursday, April 2 Next Thursday, April 2, service ser-vice and civic clubs of Roosevelt City will stage a "Victory Dinner" Din-ner" in honor of the Class "B" Basketball Champions of Utah. The affair "will be held at the Roosevelt LDS stake house and will be by reservation. A group of civic leaders met Tuesday at the call of Paul Murphy, Mur-phy, Chamber of Commerce president,' and selected William Murdock and Mr. Murphy as co-chairman of the dinner and program, and made assignments to various clubs to help in organizing or-ganizing and planning the program. pro-gram. A broad invitation is extended ex-tended the public to attend and reservations must be made by Tuesday, March 31. at 6 p.m., by calling at the offices of the Uintah Power & Light Co., Commercial Bank of Utah, or the Roosevelt Roose-velt Standard, where tickets may be purchased. Only paid reservations will be made. It is anticipated Coach Stan Watts, of BYU, and Coach Cecil Baker, of the USAC will be speakers at least invitations will be extended them to attend the affair.
