Show ELIZABETH S. HEBEKER LAPOINT Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 1 p. m. in the Lapoint ward chapel, cha-pel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, under the direction di-rection of Bishop Leo Walker, for Mrs. Elizabeth Snowball Ne-beker, Ne-beker, 85, who died Dec. 8. at 125 a. m. at the home of a. daughter, Mrs. Jesse Brough, in Fort Duchesne, following a lingering illness. She was born Dec. 7, 1866 i.i Salt Lake City, a daughter of John and Mary Sorensen Snowball. Snow-ball. She was married to Alfred W. Nebeker, Jan. 15, 1885, in the Logan L D S Temple. He died July 7, 1936. Her early life was spent in Randolph, Rich County. She was an active member of the L D S Church, working in the Primary and the Sunday School. Following her marriage she moved to Lapoint, where she had been active in the Relief Society. She was a charter member of the Eleanor Caldwell camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survivors include six sons and daughters, Meredith Nebeker, Chico, Cal.; Mrs. Jesse Brougli and Stanley Nebeker, both of Ft. Duchesne; Raymond Nebeker, Nebe-ker, Vernal; John C. and Raleigh Ra-leigh Nebeker, Salt Lake City; one granddaughter who she raised from childhood, Mrs. A. C. Talboe, Myton; .39 other grandchildren and 62 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Lapoint cemetery, under the direction of Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. ROXA ANDERSON TAYLOR LAPOINT Funeral services were conducted today at 1 p. m. in the Lapoint Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Lat-ter Day ' Saints, for Mrs. Roxa Althea Anderson, 75, who died at her home Saturday, Dec. 8, after a lingering illness. Burial was in the Lapoint cemetery, under the direction of the Vernal Mortuary. Mrs. Taylor was born March 27, 1876, in Levan, Juab County, Coun-ty, a daughter of Andrew and Zina Anderson. She was married to Roy Taylor in December, 1894. In later years they were remarried in the Manti L D S Temple. The couple came to Lapoint in 1914. Mr. Taylor was a former bishop of the Lapoint L D S Ward. He died about two years ago. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the L D S Church and was an active worker in the Relief Society, So-ciety, having served as both first and second counselor in Lapoint Ward. She is survived by four sons, Ray Taylor, Bridgeland; Rex Taylor. Lapoint; Leslie Taylor, Leeton; and Sherman Taylor, Meeker.' Colo, five daughters Mrs. Doris Ross, Vernal; Mrs. Cora Hayward, Bountiful; Mrs. Thelma Jensen, Bremerton, Washington; Mrs. Vera Huber and Mrs. Delia Nyberg, Lapoint; 33 grandchildren and 28 greatgrandchildren. |
