Show Doris P. Morrill JOINT JUNIOR GLEANER GIRLS MEET AT TRIDELL The Junior Gleaner Girls of the Tridell and Lapoint L D S Wards met jointly Wednesday evening at the Tridell Ward Chapel for a Father's and Daughter's party. A program was presented consisting con-sisting of a song by Ilia Rhae McConkie; reading, Lela Bart-lett Bart-lett and Velma Moosman; piano solo, Joleen Swain. Games were played, and a buffet luncheon was served to twelve girls and their fathers. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley, Mr. and Mrs. J. Ray McKee and Mr. and Mrs. Loren McKee returned re-turned Sunday after a ten-day visit through Nevada and Cal-I ifornia, with friends and relatives. rela-tives. Gary Simmons, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Simmons fell from a swing Wednesday and broke his arm. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Morrill have moved back into their jliome here. They have been living liv-ing in Panguitch for the past ! few months. j Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wilson and I family moved back to Tridell last week after spending the past; few months in Panguitch. J T. Wilson and daughter. Elva, went to Panguitch last week to help them move. Charles Glines made a trip to Salt Lake City on Wednesday of last week. Local Primary officers and teachers who attended the Stake Primary Christmas party Thursday Thurs-day evening in Vernal were: Doris Morrill. Edna Simmons, Jennis Betts, Iris Morrill, Vida McKee, Lurrine Bartlett, Fern Bartlett and Ruth Lowry. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were Mr. Olson and Mr. and Mrs. Dellis Morrill. Mr. and Mrs. Duane McKee were Vernal visitors Thursday of last week. Lola Christensen, school lunch supervisor, and Nettie Remington, Reming-ton, school and public health nurse, visited Monday at the Tridell School. Fireside Chat for the Junior M-Men and Junior Gleaners waa held Sunday evening at the home of Ilia Rhae McConkie. A question box was the highlight of the evening. Lunch was served serv-ed to ten guests. |
