Show Mrs. Ethel Beebe Ward Sunday ScaicoS Organized The Altonah Ward Sunday School has been reorganized. Officers Of-ficers released were Glen Mohl-man, Mohl-man, superintendent; Dean Reay, 1st counselor; Jack Allred, 2nd counselor and Minnie Lue Jes-sen, Jes-sen, secretary and treasurer. New officers are George Carroll, Car-roll, superintendent; Lester Max-field, Max-field, 1st counselor; Grant Mon-son, Mon-son, 2nd counselor, and Minnie Lue Jessen, secretary - treasurer. Clenty Ames has been ill for the past week. At last report he was recovering slowly. DeLar Maxfield who is employed em-ployed in Salt Lake City, spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Linford Maxfield. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Kone and son, George, spent Sunday with Mrs. Kone's father, George Mecham. Young George stayed for a longer visit with his grandfather. grand-father. . Lee Goodrich, of Bluebell, was an Altonah visitor Sunday. Mrs. Cora Holt returned home during the week from an extended ex-tended visit with relatives in Urbana, Mo. Barbara Anderson has been chosen at the Altonah Ward Gold and Green Queen. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Berrett, of Rangely, Colorado, spent the week end with Mrs. Berrett's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred. and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe transacted business in .White Reeks Tuesday. Mr and Mrs. Grant Smith and family, of Craig, Colorado, were overnight guests Monday of Mr. Smith's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith. - Mrs. Jean Lambert is employed employ-ed at the Mohlman Store in Al-tamont. Al-tamont. Clenty Ames was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Saturday afternoon af-ternoon for medical attention. Cause of his trouble will not be known until x-rays and examinations exam-inations are made. Bob Allred. Cloff Clark, Leo Ames, Garry Jessen and Bob Clark accompanied the Altamont basketball team to Park City Saturday night. The American Legion and Auxiliary held a bazaar and sold lunch at the Legion Home Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Keith Snyder and new son were able to come home from the Roosevelt Hospital Saturday. Sat-urday. Singing practice was held in . the ward hall Sunday night to j prepare Christmas carols. The session was directed -by Mrs. El-va El-va Snyder. Mrs. Wm. Ralphs, Mrs. Vendetta Ven-detta Clark and son. Bob, went to Salt Lake City Thursday, where Mrs. Ralphs and Bob received re-ceived medical care. Mrs. Clark and Bob returned home Friday, but Mrs. Ralphs remained for further treatment. . Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel left during the week to spend the winter in Arizona. |
