Sail Lake Firm Gets Bid To Finish Tabiona Highway Contract for construction of 7.384 miles of gravel-surfaced road between Fruitland and Tab-iona Tab-iona has been granted to R. M. Jensen, 1057 South 4th West, Salt Lake City. Mr. Jensen submitted sub-mitted the low bid for this construction work. His bid was $166,542.60. The engineer's estimate esti-mate for the project amounted to $178,289.10. This information was released this week to the Duchesne County Commissioners. Commission-ers. Other firms bidding for the construction work were: Ger-mer, Ger-mer, Abbott & Waldron Tre-monton, Tre-monton, $197,458.60; Whiting & Haymond, Springville, $214,717; L. T. Johnson, 709 Wall Ave., Ogden, $184,940.00; W. W. Clyde & Co , Springville, $169,143.10; Thorn Construction Co., Inc. Springville, $248,937.00; Olef Nelson Construction Co., Logan $215,466.60. Specifications for the project list 38,500 tons of crushed rock or crushed gravel; 124,000 tons j of unclassified excavation.
