Show Gilmores Honored At Farewell Party Friday Night FT. DUCHESNE A farewell party at the Fort Duchesne Club house last Friday night honored Supt. and Mrs. Harry Gilmore, when approximately seventy employees, em-ployees, partners and friends assembled as-sembled for a night of entertainment. entertain-ment. A delicious dinner was served at tables centered with golden horns of plenty bounteous with fruits and nuts. Yellow lighted tapers added further to the harvest har-vest decorations. Rex Curry capably performed emcee duties and read a letter of appreciation to the Gilmores from "The Old Chief." Program numbers num-bers included a vocal solo, by Mrs. Leslie Beardall, accompanied by Mrs. Lowell Coleman; and a vocal number by Earl Gardner, accompanied by Miss Marilyn Anderson. An-derson. The committee in charge of the 'arrangement included Mrs. Charles Carter, Mrs. Allan Massie and Mrs. Beardall. Supt. Gilmore is being transferred trans-ferred to the Papago Reservation, where he will assume like duties. |
