Show Scout Troop Is Accorded Honors The Boy Scout Court of Honor was held at the Moffatt ward chaper at Gusher Sunday afternoon. Eighteen members of the total enrollment en-rollment of 21, of the Myton Scout Troop 253 were present, 16 of whom were in full uniform. They were accompanied by Scoutmaster Wilmer Murray, and 20 parents. This meeting opened the new year for the Advancement contest and the Advancement ribbon for the month of November was awarded to the Myton troop. Star badges were presented to Wayne Martin, La Von Edwards, Robert Duke, Willard Mathison, and Gary Young. First Class badges bad-ges went to Ronald Giles, Kenneth Taylor and Floyd Nielsen, and Second Sec-ond Class badges went to Kenny Ross, Merlyn Perry, Curtis Winn, Lamar Winn and LaVern Young. Seventeen merit badges were presented pre-sented Other Scouts present were Newell' Richens, Billy Fausett,' Bert Dennis, Allen Taylor, Rodger Smith, Jerry Kettle, Buddy Hol-gate Hol-gate and Grant Young. The Myton Scouts are justly proud of their achievement in gaining the Advancement ribbon and of the support given them by their community. Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Allen represented rep-resented the Myton Ward at the Relief Society conference . at the Avalon ward chapel Sun. evening. I |
