Show Gusher Slstla Underwood NEW GRANDCHILD Mrs. Ellen Dean announces the birth of a gradudaughter, born on Feb. 4 at Salt Lake City, to Mr. and Mrs. Howard L. Dean. The little Miss will be known as Pauline Peaxl. Howard Ho-ward will be remembered as one, of the Dean twins, and was raised in this vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hackford returned from Salt Lake City on Monday night after visiting with Mrs. Hackford's mother, Mrs. Mary Peterman. They found her much improved after her recent attack of pneumonia. Mrs. Jennie Wing returned to her home at Fort Duchesne the last of the week, after spending some time in California Califor-nia and Salt Lake City. The Troy Tremble school bus has been re-routed to pick up the children north of Gusher. The Lapoint bus has been picking pick-ing them up, but on account of bad roads it had to discontinue that route. Mrs. Al Semken and Mrs. Hy-rum Hy-rum Domgaard visited at the Lucas home in Fort Duchesne Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Mary Eskelson, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, has been visiting at her daughter, Mrs. Ruby Hallett's home. Oscar Simmons and his brother, broth-er, Al, of Roosevelt, made a business bus-iness trip to Salt Lake Friday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Duvall, of Park City, were weekend guests at the Alec Duvall home. Mrs. Sylvia Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Allred and daughters, Shirley and Colleen, and Mrs. Fay Peterson, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, all attended Myron Roberts' Rob-erts' funeral on Saturday in Vernal. Mr. Roberts is a brother broth-er of Sylvia Allred. Allan Olsen made a business trip to Provo on Saturday, returning re-turning on Sunday, driving a new car. i |
