Show Ward Gold, Green Ball Is Success The Altonah ward held their Gold and Green Ball Saturday, Feb. 7th in the ward hall. The theme was. "Don't Let The Stars Get In Your Eyes." The floor show was lovely, with all the girls dressed in beautiful formals and the boys in suits. The hall was decorated in Gold and Green streamers. . Those taking part in the floor show were Ty Kolb, Jack Carroll, Car-roll, Jerry Carrol, Rex Allred, Glade Timothy and Ronald Powell; Pow-ell; Cleo Clark, Shirley Max-field, Max-field, Barbara Anderson, Eldora Mitchell, Ola Maxfield, Coralie Maxfield, Ruth Allred, Sharrel Ames, Alta Ames, Bonnie Ames, Alora Kolb and Reva Clark. Mrs. Mary Carroll helped cook at the Altamont High School three days last week. Clayton Kone spent several days in Salt Lake City on business. bus-iness. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weeks left Sunday to visit their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Weeks, in Garfield. Duchesne, spent the weekend week-end with friends and relatives in Altonah. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray, of Myton, spent Thursday of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claud Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark went to Vernal Friday. . VALENTINE PARTY The Altonah ward Primary had a Valentine party Thursday afternoon. The boys and girls had a contest to see which could get the most subscriptions to the Children's Friend. The! boys lost the contest. The afternoon after-noon was spent in dancing,' playing games and refreshments were served. Joe Bates, of Heber, who is in the U.S. Army, spent several days during the week visiting at the home of Milton Anderson. Ander-son. |
