Show school fiaiis ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY An operetta entitled "The Kitchen Clock," was presented Feb. 13 by M's. Walker's third grade. The Story The cook, being too tired to wind the c'.ock, drops the key and goes to bed without winding wind-ing him, after which the Night Lady brings to life everything in the kitchen. The clock begins to moan and groan because he cannot tick or tock while the feather duster, stew kettle, dust pan, broom and tea kettle try to console him.
