Show Violet Gentry Bertha Angus All-Night Party Held By Group Beehive class of the YWMIA met Tuesday night at the home of their leader, Mrs. Zelma Lloyd. The girls, Loya Lemon, Genile Lemon and Kathy and the stake Beehive leaders, Myrl Gines, Inice Mangum and Mrs. Parrish, all of Ballard, enjoyed the lesson and the barbecue supper. The girLs remained and had a slumber party and enjoyed a Hobo breakfast. Zelma Lloyd attended the Home Demonstration class in Logan on Thursday and Friday. She also visited there with her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lloyd. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Day of Salt Lake City visited Saturday with his sister, Mrs. Zelma Lloyd Saturday, honoring her birthday. Mrs. Jennie Woodward and her daughter, Mrs. Grover Dye, called on Mrs. Angus Monday. Mrs. Angus and daughter, Edna, accompanied ac-companied them to Duchesne. Stake visitors at Sunday school were Harold Crapo and Mrs. Gladys Ross of My ton. Speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday were Floyd Labrum, a High Councilman of Roosevelt, Ha Vay Lemon, Cherril Drollinger and Kent Robison. They gave their Declamation, speeches that they had given in Seminary. Mr. and Mrs. Theron Benson and children of Grand Junction are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson. Mrs. Ethelyn Russell of Kuna, Idaho, is making an extended call with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Randel Russell. Fontella Calder of Salt Lake City is visiting with her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Stone. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson and Mr. J. Benson attended a Benson family reunion Sunday in Springeville Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. James Dean and family of Moab visited Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richens Saturday. The Deans were one-time residents resi-dents here. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foote entertained enter-tained at a family dinner Sunday. Their guests were Mr. Bernelle Sherwood of Levan and fiancee, Miss Betty Neilson of Lyndall, Mrs. Sherman and Dennis Sherman Sher-man of Levan, Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Gines of Ioka. They returned home Sunday afternoon. Carolyn Foote accompanied them as far as Provo, where she will remain for a visit with her Grandma Foote. Miss Mary Lou Reichert of Roosevelt called on Edith Gentry Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Soren-sen Soren-sen and family of Roosevelt spent Thursday afternoon with his mother, moth-er, Mrs. Olive Sorensen. SUNDAY VISITORS Visitors at the W. G. Gentry home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffin of Whiterocks and Mrs. Griffin's father, Charles Iorg of Eureka, Calif., Donald Gentry of Salt Lake City, .Mrs. Tex Butcher of Sacramento, Calif, and Mrs. Devon Gentry of Myton. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas. Millburn were called to Brush, Colo., due to the death of Mr. Millburn's father, who died at his home there Sunday evening. Kenneth Anderson and brother Leon and sister Rhea Anderson are visiting with their grandma, Mrs. Emil Anderson. Mrs. Myrtle Nelson of Upalco called on Mrs. Olive Sorensen Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Esther Burton of Myton, Mrs. Tom Gentry and daughters, Louise and Pat, spent Thursday afternoon with Mrs. O. A. Dart. Dr and Mrs. Kenneth Benson of California visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson. |
