Show MOIITVELL May L. Mower WARD BUDGET PARTY The Mutual gave a ward budget bud-get party on Friday night. Games and dancing were enjoyed by all and ice cream and punch were sold as refreshments. Mrs. Leone Morilla and family have been visiting for a few weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Newt Miller. Mrs. Arvil Brown took the Home Builders of the Primary on an outing Wednesday. Their mothers were guests of honor. Miss Evelyn Shaw returned home recently from Hutchison, Kansas, where she has been visiting visit-ing relatives for the past few weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Taylor have returned recently to make their home in Roosevelt. Lynn has just been honorably discharged from the Navy and has been stationed in Hawaii the past V2 years. Larry Nelson has been home on a furlough from the Coast Guard, stationed in California. TO LEAVE BASIN Mr. and Mrs. Parley Alexander and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fenn are selling out and moving to Shelton, Wash, this week. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Bradshaw and son, Jack, from Emmitt, Ida., were visiting at the Ray Brown home this week. Henry Lidster, of Bountiful, was a visitor of the Melvin Mower's, on Sunday. Bettie Mower and Kathleen Mower went to Salt Lake City. Bettie went back to work and Kathleen for a short visit. The Special Interest class of MIA participated at a smorgasbord smorgas-bord supper at the James E. Hamblin home. Speakers at Sacrament meeting were James E. Bacon, Fred Brown and Larry Nelson. Mr. and Mrs,. Steve Adams, Va-leene Va-leene Adams and Enid Brown were visitors at the Art Brown home this week. Melvin Mower attended a water meeting at the Dry Gulch office in Roosevelt on Thursday. Lila Jean Blanchard held her birthday party at the Hamblin Pond, where a group of friends went swiwmming. They enjoyed a weiner roast afterwards. |
