' Smorgasbord Is Hallowe'en Treat For School I have never seen happier, hungrier, more ravishing boys and girls in my life than the group I witnessed last Friday afternoon 'at the Roosevelt Jr. High School, when the school cooks went all out to put on a Haliwe'en feast during the lunch houir in the form of a smlorgaslbord, featuring a great variety of foods. The thing those 'teen-agers liked about the whole thing was 'the fact that they could have refills on everything as long as they were hungry which resulted in quite a few trips back to the smorgasbord for a" good share of them. Hallowe'en decorations added add-ed a seasonal setting for the new event, which I'm sure will he looked forward to as an annual school function. Credit for the well arranged lunch hour g'oes to Zelnia Lloyd, head cook, Luoilla Law-son Law-son and Shelby Llsonbee. A matinee dance and assembly assem-bly program rounded Out the day's activity for the students. By Mrs. C. N. Memmott Society Editor |
