Show Rate High i There were very many first land second place ribbons on beautiful bouquets exhibits by 'women from- Mt. Emmons at the Duchesne County Fair. Many people from here entered exhibits. ex-hibits. Several of the girls exhibiting ex-hibiting under the 4-H program will have their work entered in the State Fair; Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Mohl-j man left Sunday for Bountiful, after a week's visit in Alta-mont, Alta-mont, Roosevelt and Altonah. Lyrad McConkie, Jay Jenkins and Junior Jenkins spent three days at Fox Lake last week on a fishing trip, after which Mr. and Mrs. Jay Jenkins and family fam-ily returned to California. Mrs. Lynn Nebeker has returned re-turned home for a visit with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Miles, from California. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Beard-en Beard-en and family moved, Monday, nto the home recently Temod- Iled by LeRoy Thacker. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Nielson nd son were here for the weekend week-end to visit with the Orrs. Mrs. Glen Davies, and Mr. ind Mrs. Kirk Merkle and chil-iren chil-iren were weekend guests of the Thackers and Stevensons. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Spro'use md children were the Sunday juests of the Floyd Cases. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Peterson md family, of Salt Lake City, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell and family and accompanied ac-companied them on a picnic to Banna. Mr. and Mrs. Hershel iorg and family and Mr. and i!rs. Dewey Jessen also went m the picnic. Mr. and Mrs. Art Case and smily were in Mt. Emmons evil ev-il the weekend and visited with he Cases and Orrs. Alton Thacker returned for lis wife, who has been visiting n Mt. Emmons and Bluebell for i while. They will be in Lyman, Wyoming, where he is working. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case were m a trip to Mona, recently, and fere accompanied by their laughter, Peggy Ann, who will leach in Mona. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Swasey md David Cook came home for he weekend to visit with the ioswells. Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Reay md Mrs. Dee Reay visited with b. and Mrs. Fay Reay last isekend. I Hyrum Smith and Nile Smith pted with Mr. and Mrs. Mell-food Mell-food Wall over the Labor Day eekend. Mr. and Mrs. Hilden Mower, Colorado, visited over the ''eekend with Mr. and Mrs. ete Wall. Mrs. Wall returned f;'h them for a week's visit them and her mother, Mrs. inima Mower who also lives B Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Randall Wardle, J Tooele, and Mr and Mrs. !?ss Maxwell, of Salt Lake, fere here for the weekend and visited with Mr. and Mrs. La-Vear La-Vear Timothy. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Hansen and children, of Boise, Idaho, and Mrs. Louis Hansen, of Salt Lake City, visited with Mr. and I Mrs. Grant Hansen and family over Wednesday and Thursday. Bovee Mecham was in Idaho and Oregon on a week's trip. While there he visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Mecham, Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Mecham, Mr. I and Mrs. Claude MacDohald and . Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Rogers and children spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crosby. Earl Crosby was here for the weekend also. Mr. and Mrs. Max Clark, of Vernal, were house guests of the Boswells last weekend. I Mr. and Mrs. 'Mellwood Wall I were hosts at a chicken supper 1 for Mr. and Mrs Dee Reay, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Reay, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Reay, and Mr. Hyrum and Nile Smith last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hansen returned re-turned Thursday from Salt Lake I City, where they went for medical med-ical treatment for Mrs. Hansen and to visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hansen were in Salt Lake City last Wednesday and Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Rust had thir baby blessed last Sunday, the father of the child pronouncing pronoun-cing the blessing. The baby's name is Erwin Kent. Erwin Rust also blessed his new brother-in-law. the son of Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hansen. Their baby was named Charles Louis. . F. Earl Case blessed the twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. James Bab-cock. Bab-cock. They were named Don Wayne and Del Roy. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Bryner and children spent Sunday in the mountains with Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hansen. Arthur Sadler spent the weekend week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hansen. Mr. and Mrs Lee Hansen returned re-turned from their summer in Alaska and took their children back with them to Salt Lake, last Sunday.
