Show I Your Soil Conservation Dist. RepotU The Uintah Basin Soil Conservation Con-servation District has completed another successful year, Harold Dudley, chairman of the Board of Supervisors, reported today. The 1952 Flood Restoration Program received first priority for the use of your Soil Conservation Con-servation Service technicians. The jobs receiving financial help from the Soil Conservation Service Ser-vice or PMA had to be completed complet-ed by January 1, 1954. For this reason you farmers who were doing practices under the regular regu-lar District or PMA programs were unable to get the technician techni-cian to your farm as soon as you needed help. The flood program pro-gram is finished; your requests for help will be taken care of in your turn first come, first served. Harold continued. Farmers and irrigation companies com-panies built more than 21,000 linear feet of stream-bank revetments, re-vetments, 44 large diversion gates, drained 560 acres, leveled 1,076 acres, built 80 miles of ditch, along with other conservation conser-vation practices.
