Mrs. Myrtle Lambert presented pre-sented a lecture on "Famous Women of Past and Present." She also gave highlights of her recent trip to New York. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to the invited guest and the following members: Mrs. Jewell Kolb, Mrs. Bruce Hartman, Mrs. Ken La-Rose, La-Rose, Mrs. Farrell Mohlman, Mrs. Eugene Hartman. Mrs. David Gailey, Mrs. AnthonJ Rust and Mrs. Ned Mitchell. Mrs. Harold Jones left the home of her parents on Sunday and returned to Malad, where she underwent an operation on Tuesday of last week. Her children chil-dren are remaining here with . their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Rust. Don Evans returned home from the BYU on Monday of last week. He will work in the Forest Service during the summer. sum-mer. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Bennion attended the MIA conference in Salt Lake City. They were- there from Wednsday until Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Max Hartman, Mrs. Pete Wall and her sister, Mrs. Howard Cluff, of Colorado, also attended. The aforementioned aforemen-tioned adults took with them the local participants in the Annual An-nual Dance Festival, who were Gwen Chapman, Carma . Jean Hansen, Ann Boswell, Revella and Dora Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Lyrad McCon-kie McCon-kie and two daughters, Dixie and Susan, were in Salt Lake on business last Wednesday and Thursday. Mrs. W. McConkie took care of the other two girls while their parents were away Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Peterson and family, of West Jordan, spent three days as house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lambert. Lam-bert. Mrs. Peterson is Mrs. Lambert's Lam-bert's sister. On Friday the two families and the Owen Goodrich family, of Bluebell, and M. J. Benson enjoyed a weiner roast. Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Timothy and family have moved back to Altamont after being away while Mr. Timothy was working at Clearfield. |
