He answers to Hugh Loren Murray, Jr., and his daddy is stationed at Koje, Japan, with the Marines. Elated over the exciting news are the fond grandparents, Mr and Mrs Hugh Murray, Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Mrs. Lyle Bunker and children, chil-dren, Beverly and Claude, of Delta, are here visiting at the Anthon Christensen residence. They accompanied Mr. Christensen Christen-sen home, when he went to get his son, Douglas, and also Karen Nixon, who had visited relatives rela-tives in Delta. The Roosevelt Standard received re-ceived the sad news Wednesday that the baby of Dr. and Mrs. j Don Johnson was born dead prematurely pre-maturely Motiday morning. Mrs. Johnson is in a hospital in Palmyra, Pal-myra, New York. The Johnsons are being transferred to Cleveland, Cleve-land, Ohio. . Mr. and Mrs. Robert Huish and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison Har-rison were Salt Lake City visitors visi-tors last week. Mrs. Harrison, Mrs. Cliff Memmott and Bennie Schmiett attended the state P-TA convention con-vention in Salt Lake last Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. George Totnlin-son Totnlin-son and five children, from North Platte, Nebraska, arrived Monday for an indefinite stay in Roosevelt as guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Wogec and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Yack. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Bowman Bow-man and daughters returned home Sunday evening from Evansville, Indiana, where Mrs. Bowman, Deanna and Dearwyn have been the past two months due to' the illness of Mrs. Bowman's Bow-man's mother. Mr. Bowman left last week to go and get them. Dr. Harry Berman, eye, ear, nose and throat specialist, will be at the Hanson Hotel in Roosevelt Roos-evelt Friday, June 26. 6-1 8-2 tc Arlene and Terry Huxford arrived ar-rived home from Price, Sunday, where they had been visiting '. with their father, Alfred Huxford, Hux-ford, who was visiting there during dur-ing his leave from the Marines. Visiting at the Pat Markey home are Mrs Markey's daugh-j ter, Mrs Marion Black, and' children, Jean and Don. They are enroute to Nebraska from Texas. ' Mr. and Mrs. Glenn H. Lyb-' bert and three sons, of Moses Lake, Washington, were overnight over-night visitors at the Hollis Hul-linger Hul-linger home Tuesday. The Hullinger family drove to Salt Lake City last Thursday to attend a reunion. This is the first time that all eight living brothers and sisters have been together for many years. Merlin Sullivan was a Salt Lake City visitor this week. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mohlman of Salem, Oregon, left Sunday after visiting the weekend with relatives and friends in Roosevelt Roose-velt and Ft. Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Don Snyder and family, of Price, spent last weekend in Roosevelt and Neola with relatives and friends. Gary Rhodes accompanied them home for a week's visit. Mrs. Crystal Broderick went to Salt Lake City this week to be present for an operation to be performed on her son, Dil-lard, Dil-lard, at the St. Marks' hospital. Miss Eva Eldredge left this week to enter the LDS mission home in Salt Lake City prior to leaving for a mission call to the New England States. Mr. and Mrs. George F. Buchanan Bu-chanan have been traveling throughout the state the past few weeks visiting their children. chil-dren. They attended the graduation grad-uation exercises of their son, Hayle, who received his Master's Degree from the Brigham Young University last week. He has accepted the position as Seminary Semi-nary instructor at Tabiona High School for next fall. They also witnessed the commencement com-mencement program when their granddaughter, Floris Taylor, graduated from the Wayne County High School. Principal Loman F. Hutchings f registered for the summer school session at the BYU, beginning June 15. Mrs. Eldon Campbell and sons, Kent and Timmy, of Car-michael, Car-michael, Calif., are visiting with her mother, Mrs. Pearl Dom-gaard Dom-gaard and her sister, Mrs. Mont Killian. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Wilson and small son, Brent, accompanied by Mrs Claudia Haynes, of Petersburg, Virginia, left Monday Mon-day morning after spending a few days at the Seth Wilson residence. Mr. Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Omni Winterton and daughter, Marilyn, attended the graduation gradua-tion exercises of Mr. Wilson's son, David, who received his Bachelor's degree from the BYU last week. David plans to if ach school. Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Hansen returned re-turned recently after visiting friends and relatives in Portland, Port-land, Oregon, for two weeks. Don Nielson left Monday morning on a business trip to Fillmore. A business visitor in Salt Lake City, Tuesday, was Elmer "Bumps" Eldredge. Mrs. Bert Burgess and daughter, daugh-ter, JoAnn, were Provo and Salt Lake visitors the fore part of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Pack and family attended the wedding wed-ding reception for a neice, Donna Don-na V. Pack, at Logan last Saturday. Sat-urday. They also remained to attend a family reunion at Tre-monton Tre-monton Sunday and Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Pack returned Monday and Marvin, Craig and i JeNeal remained for a longer visit. Bette Eldredge left this week for Seattle, to attend summer school at the University of Washington. ! Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith ' and family hav moved to Collin-ston, Collin-ston, Utah, where Mr. Smith received re-ceived an advancement with the Utah Power and Light Com-! Com-! pany Mrs. Smith is the former Veda Goodrich, of Bluebell. Commander and Mrs. L. S. Orser and family are enjoying a two-week vacation at the Orser Or-ser home in Roosevelt, where a reunion will be held Saturday for the Orser family. Commander Comman-der Orser will report to the West Coast for assignment after the two-week period. Jack McLea spent several days at home with his parents, Mayor and Mrs. J. V. McLea, before leaving for the Quartermaster Quarter-master Camp at Fort Lee, Va. He left Sunday with two friends from Ogden, who are also in the ROTC. Mr. and Mrs. James Starr and children, Roland and Ruby, of Tooele, visited in Neola last weekend to make arrangements for a new home there. They will move there in the fall when their home is completed. Roland will attend the Neola Elementary School and Ruby will enroll at Union. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reidhead and children left Monday for a two-week vacation trip to Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Tietjen and two daughters left Wednesday Wednes-day to visit several weeks in Kanab with Mr. Tietjen's relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Harry J.
