Show OriTVVELL By Bettie Mower Dance In June Music Festival The girls from here that danced the All-Girls' Dance and Two-For-One Waltz in Salt Lake City, Friday night were Karen and Cheri Nelson, Enid Brown, Roselee Brown, Dawn Pace, Ruth Hamblin, Bettie Mower, Sandra and Loene Powell, Va-leen Va-leen and Naomi Adams, and Mary Dale Hamblin. Chaperons were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Art Brown, Mrs. Jean Hamblin and Melvin Mower. Mow-er. Mr. and Mrs. Art Brown and Enid, Leslie and Karen Nelson and Naomi Adams visited Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Thursday and- Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Steven Adams Ad-ams of Pleasant Grove. Miss Lola Blanchard, of West-wood, West-wood, California, has been visiting visit-ing the past week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Blanchard. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Blanchard. Blanch-ard. Mr. and Mrs. Don Lougee left Monday after spending a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mower and family. They are going to Oregon for the summer. Miss Bettie Mower spent Monday afternoon and Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. John Lougee and family, of Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Ike Parry, of Dragerton, Utah, visited this week with Mrs. Hannah Parry and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Parry and family. George Hunt went to Salt Lake City, Friday on a business trip with Mr. and Mrs. Slim Ross and Mrs. Frosty Harris. Lester Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson, is working for the Valley Orge Oil Company in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Nebeker and family, of Murray, visited this week with Mr. and Mrs. Maurel Taylor and family before be-fore going to Manila, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Draper and family, of Salt Lake City, visited relatives here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Pace and family and Fred Brown attended attend-ed the Sweeney reunion in Immigration Im-migration Canyon, Saturday and Sunday. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were La-mont La-mont Nielson, his sons. Ray and Jack Nixon. |
