Show SCS Officials Are Kiwanis Speakers Three Uintah Basin Soil Conservation Con-servation District committeemen and an SCS conservationist presented pre-sented the program at the regular regu-lar Kiwanis meeting last night in the Frontier Grill Cafe, according ac-cording to a report by Orson Stevens, vice-president, who pre. sided over the meeting1. Heard were Harold Dudley, of Randlett, president of the District SCS, Marvin Smith, of Vernal, W. C. Foy, of Duchesne, board members, and Moroni A. Marchant. unit conservationist, who was recently transferred to Roosevelt from Mt. Pleasant. Activities of the district were reviewed by the men, and Kiwanis Ki-wanis pledged its help in any projects it might assist with. Progress of the July Fourth Firework project of the club will be presented on the night of Independence Day, was reported. re-ported. The display this year is planned to be bigger than ever with the report coming that over $500 will be spent for fireworks. fire-works. Official action was taken by the membership last night and the Kiwanis Club of Roosevelt is now incorporated under the statutes of the State of Utah. Next week the club will observe ob-serve its third anniversary with a special Ladies' Night. All Kiwanis Ki-wanis Week will be observed and A.
