Show Scouts Return From Camporee The Boy Scouts and their leader returned home Saturday after a week at Petty Mountain. I The boys can relate some ex-I ex-I citing experiences. One was .when three of the boys were jlost as they were returning I from a hike to the "Swasey I Hole, a fishing spot. The boys decided to "cut off thinking-i thinking-i they would reach camp sooner, : but found they were lost. They , traveled for some time and then decided to "back track," one of the things they have learned in scouting, and soon found their i old familiar trail and returned to camp at dark, a tired but very happy threesome. The boys and leader who made the trip were James W Powell, Phil Mathews, Bob Goodrich, Larry Lisonbee, Dal Seeley, Brent Hancock and Jay Goodrich. Miss Marva Atwood is home, after spending the summer in Salt Lake City with her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Atwood. At-wood. Mrs. Lydia Peatross and Mrs. Lena Lisonbee, of Myton, visited here Tuesday with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. Hancock, Han-cock, of Salt Lake City, visited Sunday here with Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Hancock. Friends and relatives here in Bluebell of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Monson, of Altonah, were shock-1 ed to hear of the drowning of j the Monson's 19-month-old son,' the youngest of five, Saturday evening. We extend our deepest deep-est sympathy to the family, which is well known in Bluebell. |
