Rodney Horrocks and Darrell Swain were in Salt Lake City Mrs. Dallas Green and children, child-ren, also Mrs. Norma Caldwell and children of Park City are visiting their parents, Mr. and I and Mrs. Ben Cook at Deep Creek. June Huber, who is attending the B. Y. U. at Provo spent the week end here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Huber. Willis Neumeyer, who has employment at Ogden visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neumeyer during the week. Mrs. Eliza Nelson entertained the following at her home on Sunday in honor of her 64th birthday: Frank Huber and family, Chas Taylor, Jr., and family, Lazelle and Travis Nelson Nel-son and families, Norma Burton and grandson, Eugene Nelson, and Mrs. Hyrum Burgess of Vernal. Philip Fillingham, who has been at San Diego, California, taking training in the Navy, arrived here Friday on a furlough fur-lough and is visiting his wife, Mrs. Madge Walker Fillingham and son for a few days. The Sunday School put on a very interesting Mother's Day program at Sunday School. A large crowd was in attendance. Each mother was presented with a white handkerchief. A party was given by Hayden during the week taking their physical examination. Mrs. Ardith Davis and baby arrived from Glendale, Calif ornia, to visit her parents, Mr. ! and Mrs. Laurence Hackford for a month. i Foster's Sunday School class Sunday night in honor of Jene Nyberg, at the home of his1 parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Nyberg. Jene left Monday where he will take his physical examination exam-ination to join the Merchant Marines. Games were played and a delicious lunch served. |
