A Major Bowes hour was rendered with Gail Dennis taking the part of Major Bowes: The Wobbler chorus, Bishop Crapo, Loyal Perry, Per-ry, Clarence Lydell, Syerl Dennis Den-nis and Leo Elder; duet, Mrs. Earl Gingell and Mrs. Afton Richens;' experiences, Mrs. Howard How-ard Roberts; solo, Mrs. Max Jen-son; Jen-son; the cowboy singers, Denton and Rollo Elder, accompanied by Leo Elder; violin solo, Miss Rose Brokaw; song, the three Snyder sisters; song by the Wobbler Wob-bler chorus. Mother's Day Program i Opening son, "Welcome to All"; prayer, Leonard Harris; sacramental song, "O Lord of Hosts"; the following took part in the playet: F. S. Musser, Mrs. Crapo, Norman Dennis, Keith Peterson, John McClellan; "I Love You Mother", by five primary pri-mary children, Leon Parrish Helen Hemphill, King Thome, Fay Francin and Viola Mott; "Mother Machrec", Clyde Howell; How-ell; Mother banquet, kindergarten; kindergar-ten; "Mother", Mrs. Max Jenson; a tribute to mother, Bishop Crapo Cra-po and Supt. Howard Roberts; "Love at Home", closing hymn; prayer, Keith Peterson. Dinner Honoring Roosevelt Unit The Myton Auxiliary unit entertained en-tertained the Roosevelt Unit at a dinner Friday night. Those present were Mrs. R. S. Jordan, Mrs. Ronald Page, Mrs. Murel Benson, Mrs. Cliff Angus, Mrs. M. G. Penfield, Mrs. Jack Glca-ton, Glca-ton, Mrs. Arnold Reef, Mrs. Herbert Her-bert Barow and Mrs. Kenneth Trujillo, Mrs. Amanda Parker, Mrs. Oscar Adams, Mrs. Frank Monks, Mrs. Jay Smith, Mrs. Demphill Hemphill, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. Lionel Babcock, Mrs, Wesley Brummett, Mrs. Wm, Harris and Mrs. James Dalgleish. The Legion merit awards to the outstanding students were given to Claude Nebcker and Iona Mac Snyder by H. P. An-derle. An-derle. Mr. and Mrs. Lou Bogart and family were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Uresk Sunday. Mrs. Henry C. Hesse and son, Pfc, Clarence Hesse came from Florence, Colorado Saturday where thev have been visiting. H. C. McShane, Department president Commander and Mr. and Mrs. Marker of Salt Lake City were visiting Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish Wednesday en-route en-route to Denver. i Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Anderle en-I en-I joyed a visit from Mrs. Anderle's sister and nephew of Denver. The nephew will stay here this summer. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Dennis .went to Provo Sunday to spend Mother's Day with their mothers, Mrs. Lizzie Stewart and Mrs. Dan Dennis. Miss Rose Brokaw and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennis attended at-tended the Seminary exercises at Altamont Sunday evening. Rose and Mrs. Dennis played several sev-eral selections. Oscar Adams and James Pax-man Pax-man went to Salt Lake City Sunday Sun-day as representatives of the Myton My-ton I O O F lodge to attend the grand lodge. Mr, and Mrs. Willard Smith and family went to Altonah Sunday Sun-day evening to attend the Altamont Alta-mont Seminary exercises, Mrs. Smith composed the play. Mr. and Mrs. William A. Whit-ting Whit-ting and daughter, Iowa' and son Cliffton, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Whitting and daughter of Walls-burg Walls-burg were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennis Sunday. Mrs. Andrew Talboe went to Salt Lake City Sunday on business busi-ness and to visit her daughter, Dorthea. Felix Quintana went to Provo Sunday where he is' employed. There will be a shower, program, pro-gram, dance and refreshments in the L D S church May 21 for Bishop Bis-hop and Mrs. H. L. Crapo. Cpl. Earl Campbell of Dugway son of Mrs. Lional Bowden spent the week end home. Mr. and Mrs. Seth Campbell accompanied Earl to Salt Lake City. Wilmer Murray and LaVar Dennis of Layton were week end guests with their families. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Kronquist of Ft. Duchesne were Sunday evening ev-ening guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Mrs. Rose Englcsbc was taken to the hospital Friday. Mrs. Murel Benson and son were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Forsyth Monday. Mrs. Homer Robinson drove Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cooper to Price. Mrs. Cooper has been ill for two months. She stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Curley Cooper, so she would be near a doctor. Mrs. Emery Nielson was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Adams Ad-ams Sunday. Mrs. Earl Gad and daughter of Pop's Place, Mrs. Lawrence Lee and family and Mr. and Mrs. Al-ford Al-ford Christensen and family of Lapoint were visiting Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Adams Sunday. Mrs. Lavar Dennis went to Provo Monday to visit her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Hazel Peterson. Mrs. Lou Trinniman of Salt Lake came Friday to visit her father, Mr. Curtis and friends. |
