Show Veal and Lamb ' Set Aside For Government Use WFA has added veal and lamb produced in Federally-inspected slaughter houses to the meats to be set aside for Government purchase. pur-chase. Grade AA, A and B dressed dress-ed carcasses of veal weighing 60 to 275 pounds must be set aside, but after sale of delivery of 35 percent to Government agencies, the remainder becomes available for civilian use. The lamb set-aside set-aside is on the same grades of dressed carcasses weighing 30 to 70 pounds with yearlings and mutton excluded and the remainder re-mainder released to civilian trade channels after 25 percent has been sold or delivered to Government agencies. WFA has eliminated its livestock slaughter slaugh-ter licensing and quota provisions provi-sions in keeping with the recent delegation of authority to the OPA to administer limitations for livestock processed in non-Federally-inspected slaughter houses. |
